Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal interacted directly with the local public while marching in Mehrauli assembly constituency on Wednesday. During this, Kejriwal said that BJP troubled the people of Delhi by sending him to jail. All the works of sewer, water and roads were stopped, but they have come back and started the work rapidly. Roads have been repaired, cleaned and facilities in hospitals have been restored.
Kejriwal said that before his government, power cuts were common in Delhi, now electricity is available 24 hours a day and that too for free. If BJP comes to power, power cuts of up to 10 hours will start and your electricity will become expensive. Those who have high water bills, do not pay those bills, he will forgive them all. Kejriwal accused BJP of wanting to stop the facilities in Delhi as their 22 states do not have such facilities. BJP tried to stop the work through the Lieutenant Governor, but it failed.
He said that in the last one-two years, BJP has put AAP leaders in jail one by one by filing fake cases. Supreme Court scolded BJP a lot. The way the Aam Aadmi Party government is working in Delhi, such work has not been done in India in the last 75 years. The Aam Aadmi Party government improved the schools. There are mohalla clinics all over Delhi. People get free treatment in government hospitals. People are getting free medicines, operations are free.
He said that when he was in jail, he troubled the people of Delhi a lot. The roads are broken and not allowed to be repaired. Created water problem. Sewers overflowed. It became dirty. But after coming out of jail, he has started work rapidly. He has given instructions to repair all the roads. Has given instructions to all its MLAs for cleanliness. They did not allow medicines to be purchased in hospitals. Tests were not allowed to be conducted and lab tenders were stopped, but now medicines and tests have started again. They now plan to capture power in Delhi by adopting BJP’s Sama, Daam, Dand, Bheed. The public will not allow it to succeed.
